Ten years after the release of his breakthrough Highspeeds, Elliot Moss is opening the vault.

“Bad Neighbors” is the latest unearthed gem, a haunting slow-burn that never made the original cut but lingers with all the spectral weight of Moss’s best work. It’s hypnotic and understated, built on blurry memories and fraying edges. Like the ghosts it describes, the track floats somewhere between memory and myth.

Originally left behind in favor of other tracks, Moss says the song “was always hanging around,” and now it’s finally found its rightful place. With the Highspeeds (Expanded – 10th Anniversary) on the way this August, “Bad Neighbors” is a welcome return to the moody magic that started it all.
